Supermetrics Game Pants aims to burst the joy

Tearing playing pants is a familiar simile for everyone. Joonas “Raedot” Hujase, the captain of Supermetrics’ second team, has personal experience with the matter, however - the team’s name originated from a coincidence from the previous season, where after a match that turned out to be a little too exciting, the captain’s playing pants literally experienced this harsh fate
Supermetrics Game Pants is currently competing in the CS2 Season 3 Enabled by Supermetrics 8th division Lower Bracket in the Playoffs. There is a lot at stake, as the team’s goal for the season is clear: beating Supermetrics’ number one team, CS-Tools LD, to see which team advances further in the season. At the moment, both teams have dropped into the Lower bracket in the Playoff phase, where losing even one game means the start of the CS summer vacation.
Supermetrics players have a fairly wide range of different job roles in working life. There are players from, for example, the customer service, HR, product development, product marketing and sales teams. The composition of the playing pants is as follows:
Joonas “Raedot” Hujanen, Senior Software Developer Laura “Lapa” Kyntäjä, Talent Programs Lead Niklas “AceGekko” Sweden, Customer Success Team Lead Trang “Bun” Phan, API Integration Engineer Viktor “tarball” Djupsjöbacka, Lead Software Engineer Tero “Shaboon” Tommola, Subject Matter Expert
So where did the SM Pelihousuje team really get its start? The roots of the team go back to the time when Supermetrics CS-Tools won the divari final of the first season and, inspired by this, Raedot, tarball and Shaboon were involved in assembling Supermetrics’ second team called Supermetrics 404. Over the course of several seasons, the core team of that team has also shaped the base of Pelihousuje, which was also reinforced by other short-lived Supermetrics teams from SM Blebs and SM Lapa and Pikkuoravi. Bun has joined the team as the latest member.
Niklas “AceGekko” Sweden has been working at Supermetrics until the end of 2021. Today, he works as the Customer Success Team Lead for the EMEA region and is responsible with his team for the region’s gold customers and ensures that customers get the most out of their Supermetrics licenses. The most memorable experience at work was Niklas’ first Superscape, where the entire global work community was flown to Tenerife to carry out all kinds of activities - and of course to go on vacation.
One of the most memorable in my CS career has been a hosting gig with Natu when we hosted the Lahti University of Applied Sciences CS final. It was great to get to work with an old legend! - Niklas “AceGekko” Sweden
The Counter Strike fly was already biting in the Internet cafe in Imatra in the early 2000s, and since then the game has gone along with it. As a funny anecdote, in the early stages of Niklas’ gaming career, he played with the arrow keys instead of the WASD keys, which was also reflected in the result. More recently, the buttons have been changed to more traditional ones, which hopefully will make the Supermetrics Pelihousuje Playoff games even further.
