AtFlow is looking for a flow space - both at work and on the server!

AtFlow is an IT company from Joensuu, whose main “bread procurement tool” is the production of online stores, websites, reservation systems and digital marketing with a partner model. The company, which develops implementations with its own Dataflow platform, has been involved in Kanaliiga since the second season of PUBG, and cooperation has been done since the 5th season. Originally, atFlow supported Kanaliiga with a more traditional sponsorship agreement, until at some point in the cooperation it was discovered that Kanaliiga’s website needed to be renewed and building an online store is also a current project - since then, Kanaliiga’s website and online store have operated on the atFlow platform, and the cooperation has been deepened through IT projects familiar to Kanaliiga people, and of course also IT problems.
With gray hair, more complicated development ideas than the other, and certainly a unique development environment, atFlow has not only gained visibility and experience, but also a lot more for itself from the cooperation. The partnership has a lot of potential both in terms of recruitment, cooperation and customer relations - not forgetting new teammates and friends. Regionally, Kanaliiga has created its own concentrations in different cities and, for example, PUBG teams from Joensuu remember to vote among themselves about who had the best games in any given week.
Gaming culture has been present in atFlow’s everyday life and free time throughout the company’s history and long before the company was founded. “We still work with several of the same faces on a daily basis and play video and board games in our free time. We also try to organize office games every now and then. More competitive gaming is practiced only in the field of PUBG in Kanaliiga. Otherwise, the games are selected according to the size and mood of the gaming group at that time,” says Jouni “Entoz” Tolvanen. Originally, almost no one from the company had played PUBG before participating in the Kanaliiga tournament, but soon the game replaced other video games in coffee table conversations and joint gaming sessions, leaving all previous games behind.
“Even though PUBG has been the most popular game within the company, unfortunately the hours played have not yet correlated with success. If achievements are measured, then ¾ of the original team members are still the same. If it doesn’t actually improve the team’s performance level, then let’s count it as a success that we still tolerate each other quite well!” - Jouni Tolvanen
Looking to the future, atFlow sees itself in a partnership with Kanaliiga as long as the common interest in the partnership remains or alternatively the mouse remains in hand - whichever happens to be sooner. The goal for playing in the tournament itself is a level “At which playing would only cause a moderate amount of shame and the abilities would be enough to get by at the Challengers series level.”
AtFlow’s game highlights can be followed at the Challengers series level of the Kanaliiga PUBG Squad S14 tournament. Challengers broadcasts on Wednesdays @KanaliigaTV
